What Duolingo score do you need for the University of the Pacific?

Graduate applicants can send IELTS and Duolingo scores directly to the Office of Graduate Admission through the testing service, by mail or to gradadmission@pacific.edu. The undergraduate page asks for official results from an accepted test.

For graduate assistantships the page sets a higher TOEFL level (90 rather than 80) but gives no separate Duolingo figure. Applicants who miss the assistantship score may be asked to submit the Test of Spoken English.

For comparison, the same pages set IELTS at 6.5 for undergraduates and for graduate admission.

Pacific's international students FAQ says it offers conditional admission through UOP International for students who need to study English as a second language first. Graduate applicants are pointed to UOP International's English Language Pathway programmes.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Pacific programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
