UWG PTE minimums by level
From UWG's international undergraduate admissions page and international graduate admissions page.
| Programme or band | PTE overall | Minimum per skill |
|---|---|---|
| Undergraduate, most programmes | 53 | None stated |
| Graduate | No PTE figure on the graduate page | Not applicable |
Test rules and how to send your score
The undergraduate table lists "PTE Pearson" at 53. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. Send your score through your Pearson account and confirm receipt with UWG's international admissions office.
On the same table, IELTS Academic is 6.0 overall and TOEFL iBT is 3.5 (or 69 if taken before 2026). So PTE 53 is UWG's PTE route to the IELTS 6.0 level.

If you fall short
The requirement can be waived for applicants whose first language is English and who completed a degree taught in English in an English-based system. Cambridge English at 169 is another accepted test. The page does not describe a conditional admission or pathway with a PTE entry point.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UWG programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
