What PTE score do you need for UT Dallas?

Both pages require scores less than two years old at the time of admission. Graduate applicants upload a copy of the original score report in the Applicant Portal and, if admitted, must have official scores delivered by the testing agency before enrolling. UT Dallas accepts IELTS and PTE scores electronically or by mail directly from the testing agency. The pages do not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same pages, IELTS Academic needs 6.5 and Duolingo 105, so PTE 67 is the PTE route to the same level at both undergraduate and graduate entry.

Completing Level 112 at an ELS Language Center also meets the requirement at both levels. Undergraduates can also qualify through SAT EBRW 560 or ACT English 21, or through set US coursework routes; graduate applicants are exempt if their degree was earned through instruction and examination in English.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UT Dallas programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
