How UT Tyler handles TOEFL scores
Evidence of English proficiency must be submitted before graduate admission is granted. UT Tyler's ETS code for the TOEFL is 6850. Several graduate education programmes cite the Texas Education Agency's official TOEFL iBT section minimums (TAC 230.11) rather than a single total. The pages do not state a MyBest policy or a validity period.
For comparison, UT Tyler asks for IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each section, and 7.0 with 6.5 in each section for graduate psychology and counselling.
