How UVU handles TOEFL scores
UVU accepts either the traditional TOEFL iBT score (0 to 120) or the new 1 to 6 scale during the transition; after 2028, only the new scale will be accepted. For graduate applicants, English exam scores over two years old are not accepted, and programmes may set more demanding TOEFL minimums. UVU's TOEFL code is 4870.
For comparison, UVU asks undergraduates for IELTS 6.0 and graduate applicants for IELTS 6.5.

If your TOEFL score is below UVU's level
English proficiency is not required for native English speakers. Transfer students can also meet it with a grade of B or better in a college-level English Composition course. The page does not describe a conditional TOEFL level.
