PTE rules at UWA
UWA says the listed tests of English are valid for two years from the test date. For courses with accreditation English requirements, it points you to the course rules in the handbook instead. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
On the same page, the minimum standard is IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0 and the higher standard is IELTS 7.0 with no band below 6.5, which line up with PTE 64 (60) and 70 (64).

If your PTE falls short
UWA's Centre for English Language Teaching (CELT) Bridging Course is an alternative for many courses, but UWA says it is not accepted for courses with accreditation English requirements, such as nursing, the Bachelor of Education (Primary) and the clinical psychology graduate diplomas.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UWA programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
