PTE rules at VU
VU lists Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic among its recognised tests and says you must take a recognised test no more than two years before you start your course. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core, and says VU will sometimes accept tests not on its list.

VU English's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is listed as an alternative: Level 5 achieved for bachelor degrees and Level 6 achieved for graduate diplomas, masters and research degrees.
