PTE rules at RMIT
RMIT lists Pearson Test of English (Academic) among the only tests it accepts for admission, and says it does not accept results from at-home or online tests for international students, so PTE Academic Online is not an option. Your test must have been completed within two years of your RMIT course start date.
The 58 (50) level sits in the same column as IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0 for undergraduate, postgraduate and research study.

If your PTE falls short
RMIT points students who need more English to its preferred English language providers for recognised preparatory study, and to recognised qualifications taken in English.
