Test rules and how to send your score
Test dates must be within the last two years. The page states that PTE scores must be sent to Washburn directly from Pearson online; unlike TOEFL and IELTS, it does not offer emailing a student copy as an option for PTE. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
On the same page, IELTS Academic or IELTS Indicator is 6.0 overall and TOEFL iBT is 72 (or 4 on the scale used after 1 January 2026).

If you fall short
The page says that if some subtest scores are lower, one or more Intensive English courses may be required. You can also start with Intensive English Program classes instead of a test, and most of those credits count towards a degree. Completing all Level 3 courses in Washburn's Intensive English program with a C or better meets the requirement.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Washburn programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
