What Duolingo score do you need for West Texas A&M University?

Choose West Texas A&M University as a recipient when you send your Duolingo results. English proficiency must be sent directly by the agency or institution, and proof is valid for two years unless otherwise noted.

WT does not accept IELTS One Skill Retake scores, TOEFL Essentials or TOEFL MyBest scores; the page sets no such limits for Duolingo.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.0 overall for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduate study.

If the language of instruction at your current or most recent school is entirely English, the school can send WT a letter of English proficiency directly. Freshmen can also use an ACT English score of 21.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your West Texas A&M programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
