How UT Tyler handles Duolingo scores
Graduate applicants with an undergraduate degree from a foreign institution must submit English proficiency results, and the evidence must be in before UT Tyler grants admission. Undergraduates who graduated from a US high school have the requirement waived.
The pages give no Duolingo validity period and no Duolingo-specific sending instructions.
For comparison, the same pages set IELTS at 6.5, with 6.0 in each subsection for graduate study, and IELTS 7.0 with 6.5 per subsection for psychology and counseling.

If your Duolingo score is below 105
The pages list other accepted tests, including TOEFL 79 (iBT), PTE Academic 53 and, for graduate study, EIKEN Grade 1. They do not describe a conditional or pathway admission route.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UT Tyler programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
