What Duolingo score do you need for Western Kentucky University?

The admission requirements page says WKU now accepts Duolingo scores for undergraduate admission. It also describes the Pathway in two lengths: 100 DET for the one-semester Pathway and 90 DET for the two-semester Pathway. Email applyinternational@wku.edu to confirm which applies to you.

Applicants are responsible for making sure results reach the university by the deadlines. The pages give no Duolingo validity period.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.0 for direct undergraduate entry and 5.5 for the Pathway, and the graduate requirements ask for IELTS 6.5.

A score of 90 opens the Pathways Program at WKU instead of direct entry. Completing ELS Level 109 or WKU's ESLi programme also meets the undergraduate requirement.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your WKU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
