Test rules and how to send your score
The undergraduate page lists a TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson PTE, DAAD, EIKEN, Duolingo or iTEP score report with "Worcester State Code: 3524". Neither page sets a score age or mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
On the same pages, IELTS is 6.5 and TOEFL is 4 (undergraduate) or 4.5 (graduate) for tests from 21 January 2026.

If you fall short
Undergraduates with an associate degree from a regionally accredited US college do not need an English test. Graduate applicants can have the test waived by completing the Bridge to University programme at Worcester State's Intensive English Language Institute with one or two graduate-level courses and a recommendation letter from IELI faculty.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Worcester State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
