What IELTS score do you need for Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio?

The first-year page lists four exemptions: a full year of high school in the USA, at a US regionally accredited school overseas or in a first-language English country with a C or better in standard (non-ESL) English; a C or higher in IGCSE or O-Level English (first language); a full year of IB English Language and Literature or IB English A with HL 4 or SL 5 or higher; or at least 24 semester hours at a US accredited university with a C- or higher in English Composition.

Students admitted at the 6.0 tier must take MDLN 110 (Academic Discourse and Presentation) and MDLN 111 (Academic Reading and Writing). At the 5.5 tier they take the same two courses, meet their advisor twice a week and see tutors or learning specialists on referral.
