What TOEFL score do you need for Xavier University?

All international first-year applicants must submit an English proficiency test and meet the minimum to be considered. The lower TOEFL level comes with additional English course requirements and is available only for the fall (August) intake. Neither page gives a TOEFL code, a MyBest policy or a validity period.

For comparison, Xavier asks first-year applicants for IELTS 6.5 for full admission (6.0 with additional English courses) and graduate applicants for IELTS 6.5.

First-year students between 70 and 78 (4 on the new scale) can enter in August with additional English courses. At graduate level, an applicant who does not meet every requirement but has shown exceptional talent may be admitted at the discretion of the Chief Enrollment Officer, with supports put in place.
