Party Venues for Children in Durnford

Jungle Jim's Play Centre

Jungle Jim's has a huge indoor climbing frame with slides, tunnels and a ball pool. Parties are for children aged two to ten and last two hours, including forty minutes in our party room. We provide the food, which is sandwiches, crisps and fruit, but you are welcome to bring your own birthday cake. The price is £12 per child, with a minimum of ten children. Socks must be worn on the climbing frame.

Durnford Leisure Centre

Why not have a pool party? You can hire our small pool for one hour, with an inflatable obstacle course and two lifeguards. Afterwards, you can use the meeting room for another hour. We do not provide food, but you can bring your own. Children must be at least six years old and able to swim a width of the pool. Parents must stay in the building throughout the party.

Paint Pot Pottery Studio

At Paint Pot, children choose a plate, a mug or an animal and paint it themselves. The pieces are then fired in our oven and are ready to collect a week later. Parties are suitable for ages five and over, and up to fifteen children can come. Aprons are provided so that clothes stay clean. Party food is not included, but the café next door can deliver a party tea.

Hollybrook Farm

Children can feed the lambs, hold the rabbits and ride on a tractor trailer around the farm. Parties take place from April to October only, because the animals stay inside in winter. They are suitable for children aged five to eleven, and visitors should wear old shoes or boots. Each party has its own picnic area with a shelter in case of rain, and our staff will serve a hot meal of sausages and chips.

Magic Max

Max is a children's entertainer who comes to your home or to a hall of your choice. He has been entertaining children in the area for fifteen years. His ninety-minute show includes magic tricks, balloon animals and party games. He is happy to perform for children of any age, from toddlers to twelve-year-olds. Max needs a space at least four metres wide, and you should book at least six weeks ahead.
