1

Do you often look at the clouds?

Yes, quite a bit actually, especially when I'm taking a break from work. I find it really therapeutic to just gaze out of my flat window and watch them drift past. Just the other afternoon, I spent about ten minutes watching a massive, fluffy cloud change shape over the city centre.

2

What kind of clouds do you prefer?

I'd say I'm quite fond of those wispy, feather-like clouds you get on a bright summer afternoon. They give the sky a bit of texture without blocking out the warmth of the sun, which is ideal when you want to spend the afternoon reading out in the garden.

3

Did you like watching clouds when you were a child?

Yes, absolutely. My brother and I used to lie on the grass in our back garden during the school holidays, trying to spot different animal shapes in the sky. We would make up silly stories about cloud dragons and castles, which kept us entertained for hours.

4

Do you prefer sunny days or cloudy days?

Definitely sunny days, to be honest. I live in a fairly rainy region, so whenever overcast skies set in for days on end, it tends to make me feel a bit lethargic. Bright sunshine always gives me an instant boost of energy and lifts my spirits.

5

Have you ever taken photos of clouds?

Yes, all the time, particularly during sunsets. If there is a dramatic sky with golden or purple hues reflecting off thick storm clouds, I can't resist pulling out my mobile phone to capture a quick snapshot. I took a lovely one by the river only last weekend.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
