1

Are there many forests in your country?

Yes, quite a lot, especially in the northern regions where vast pine forests stretch for miles. Having said that, near my hometown, most of the natural woodland has been cleared for farming over the years, so you have to drive a fair distance to see dense trees.

2

Do you often visit forests or woodlands?

Not as often as I’d like, to be honest. I live in a fairly built-up city, so I only manage to get out into nature once every couple of months. When I do get a free weekend, I usually head out for a proper hike to unwind.

3

What do you like to do when you go to a forest?

Mainly just walking and taking in the fresh air. I find the sound of rustling leaves incredibly soothing. Sometimes I take my camera along to photograph wild mushrooms or birds, though usually, I just enjoy being completely off-grid for a few hours.

4

Did you ever go to a forest when you were a child?

Yes, all the time. My grandparents lived near an ancient oak wood, and my cousins and I used to build dens and climb trees there during the summer holidays. Looking back, it felt like a magical playground because it was so wild and untamed.

5

Would you like to stay in a cabin in a forest for a holiday?

Absolutely, that sounds right up my street. I love the idea of waking up surrounded by greenery and having a peaceful cup of coffee on a wooden deck. It would be a great way to escape the daily grind and recharge my batteries.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
