1

Do you often go to a library?

Not as often as I used to, to be honest. I probably pop into my local community library once a month, mainly to return novels or find a quiet corner to focus. When I was at university, though, I practically lived in the silent study area.

2

What do you usually do when you visit a library?

Well, mostly I browse the fiction section to pick up something new to read over the weekend. Occasionally, I'll take my laptop along and do some coursework there because the peaceful atmosphere really helps me get into the zone without distractions.

3

Did you use libraries much when you were a child?

Yes, absolutely. My mum used to take my sister and me to the town library every Saturday morning. I distinctly remember taking part in a summer reading challenge where you got stickers for every book you finished, which I loved.

4

Do you prefer reading physical books or reading on a screen?

I definitely lean towards physical books. There's something really satisfying about turning the pages and feeling the paper. I find reading on a screen for too long causes eye strain, so I only use an electronic reader when I'm travelling light.

5

Do you think public libraries will still be important in the future?

I reckon they will, yeah. Even though so much information is digitised nowadays, libraries offer free access to resources and a safe community space for everyone. They're evolving into learning hubs rather than just places that store old paperbacks.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
