1

Do you have any pets at the moment?

Not right now, unfortunately. I live in a fairly small rented flat on the third floor, so keeping an animal isn't really practical or permitted by my landlord. I'd love to have a rescue cat, but for now, it's just not on the cards.

2

Did you have a pet when you were younger?

Yes, I did actually. Growing up, my family had a golden retriever named Buster. He was such a lively dog, and I used to take him for walks in the local park every single afternoon after school. It taught me quite a bit about responsibility.

3

What is your favourite type of pet?

I'd definitely say dogs, particularly medium-sized breeds like spaniels. I find them incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. You can take them out on long walks in the countryside, which suits my lifestyle because I love being outdoors at the weekend.

4

How much time do you spend with animals these days?

To be honest, not as much as I'd like. Since I don't own any pets myself, I mostly just get to fuss over my neighbour's ginger cat whenever I bump into him in the communal garden. Occasionally, I also pet-sit for my sister when she goes away.

5

Would you like to keep a pet in the future?

Yes, without a doubt. Once I settle down and hopefully buy a house with a proper back garden, getting a dog is top of my priority list. I think having a pet around makes a home feel so much warmer and livelier.
