1

Do you often spend time on rooftops?

Not really on a daily basis, but I occasionally head up to the communal terrace on my block of flats in the evening. It's a lovely spot to catch the sunset and get some fresh air after being cooped up indoors all day working at my desk.

2

What do you like to do when you are on a rooftop?

Mostly, I just enjoy relaxing and taking in the panoramic views of the city skyline. Sometimes I'll bring a novel up with me or meet a friend for a quick chat over a cup of tea while admiring the scenery below.

3

Are rooftop gardens popular in your hometown?

They're actually becoming quite trendy these days. A lot of modern residential buildings and trendy cafés have started transforming their bare roofs into green spaces filled with potted plants and seating areas, which really brightens up the urban landscape.

4

Did you ever go up onto rooftops when you were a child?

Rarely, to be honest, because my parents thought it was far too dangerous. The only exception was when we visited my grandparents' house in the countryside, where we'd sometimes climb up onto the flat garage roof to watch fireworks during festivals.

5

Would you like to have your own rooftop garden in the future?

Oh, absolutely. I'd love to have a private rooftop space where I could grow my own herbs and vegetables, like tomatoes and mint. Having a peaceful outdoor sanctuary right above my home would be an absolute dream come true.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
