1

Do you often use speakers to listen to music?

Yes, pretty much every day. I work from home quite a bit, so I usually connect my mobile phone to a small portable speaker while I'm cooking or tidying up the flat. It just helps to create a pleasant atmosphere in the background.

2

What kind of speakers do you prefer using?

To be honest, I lean towards wireless Bluetooth ones because they are really convenient to carry around. I'm not really an audiophile, so I don't need a massive sound system; as long as the sound quality is crisp and clear, I'm completely satisfied.

3

Where do you usually listen to music through speakers?

Mostly in my kitchen and the living room. When I have friends over for dinner at the weekend, I always put on a mellow playlist to set the mood. I try to keep the volume sensible, though, so I don't disturb my neighbours.

4

Did you have any speakers in your home when you were younger?

Yes, we did, but they were bulky stereo units with long wires running across the floor. My father had this huge music system in the lounge that took up half a shelf. Looking back, they weren't particularly stylish, but they certainly packed a punch.

5

Would you like to buy a better set of speakers in the future?

I suppose so, yeah. If I move into a larger flat down the line, I'd love to invest in a multi-room audio setup that syncs across different rooms. For now, though, my current compact one does the job perfectly well.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
