1

Do you ever use stickers?

Yes, quite often actually. I mostly use them to personalise my things, like slapping a few quirky ones onto the back of my laptop lid. It just makes my workspace feel a bit brighter and stops me from accidentally picking up someone else's computer at the library.

2

What kind of stickers do you like?

I tend to go for minimalist graphic designs or vinyl stickers featuring witty slogans and illustrations of plants. Recently, I bought a lovely matte vinyl sticker of a coffee mug from an independent market stall in Bristol, and I’ve stuck it right on my reusable water bottle.

3

Did you collect stickers when you were a child?

Oh, definitely. Like most children, I was obsessed with sticker albums, especially ones related to wildlife and football tournaments. My brother and I used to swap our duplicates in the school playground during break time to try and complete our collections.

4

Do you prefer using digital stickers when messaging, or physical ones?

I probably use digital stickers more these days just because of how much I chat on messaging apps. They are great for getting a humorous reaction across quickly. That said, I still appreciate a nice physical decal because it gives everyday stationery a bit of character.

5

Would you ever design your own stickers?

I would love to give it a go, to be honest. I enjoy doing digital sketches in my spare time, so turning some of those doodles into waterproof vinyl decals for friends would be a really fun little creative project to try over a weekend.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
