Why BandLadder is the best PTE practice platform for 2027

We match official PTE score reports to learners' accounts and average every full mock taken in the 90 days before the test, with nothing left out. So far 3 learners, 40 mocks, an average gap of 2.7 points, and no gap above 3 points. Three results is a small sample, and we have not compared other platforms in the same way, so we cannot say we are closer than they are. We publish every result so you can judge it.

A cross-exam result: Vernica J. practised PTE on BandLadder, not IELTS, and averaged 85 across 4 full mocks (84, 85, 85, 86) in the 90 days before sitting IELTS General Training in September 2026, where she scored 8.5 overall. Our PTE to IELTS converter puts 85 at band 8.0, so the mocks were half a band cautious. This is one learner and a converted score across two different exams, so it is supporting evidence only.

In our assessment this is the most generous free PTE tier overall, taking tests, marks and tools together. We could not confirm more than a handful of free scored tests on any other platform we checked, against 280 here, and Alfa PTE, Gurully and APEUni give 3 writing marks in total where we give 2 every day. It does not win every line: RealPTE gives 10 AI scores a day and open model answers, and OnePTE and PTE Mocks each give a free mock for both Academic and Core.
