What Duolingo score equals IELTS 6.5?+
DET 120 and 125 both correspond to IELTS 6.5 on Duolingo's official concordance.
What Duolingo score equals IELTS 7?+
DET 130 and 135 correspond to IELTS 7.0.
Is the Duolingo to IELTS table official?+
Yes. Duolingo published the overall DET–IELTS concordance in 2022 and skill-level concordances in 2024. IELTS itself does not publish a Duolingo table.
Is Duolingo accepted instead of IELTS?+
By many universities in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, but not for UK visas or Australian skilled visas. Check each course's stated minimum.
