What Duolingo score do you need for BIMM?

Duolingo results must be no more than two years old. These are standard minimums, and the page tells you to use the Course Finder to check your course's requirements.

The page says Cert HE applicants who need a Student Visa must take a Secure English Language Test (SELT), such as IELTS for UKVI or PTE Academic UKVI, and that no alternative qualifications are accepted for them.

For comparison, the same page asks for IELTS Academic 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each element for undergraduate degrees and 6.5 with no less than 5.5 for postgraduate.

BIMM may consider a degree taught in English from a non-majority English-speaking country if it is equivalent to a UK bachelor's (RQF level 6) and recognised by ECCTIS. Nationals of majority English-speaking countries, as defined by the Home Office, are exempt for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your BIMM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
