What PTE score do you need for Charles Sturt University?

The page says Charles Sturt does not accept IELTS Online or the PTE Academic Online test, and that each minimum must be met with a result obtained within the last two years. Some courses do not recognise all tests, so check your course entry requirements for exclusions.

Courses with a higher English requirement include dental science, civil engineering (honours), medical laboratory science, nursing, occupational therapy, oral health, paramedicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, social work, the veterinary degrees and the Master of Nursing (Pre-registration). Their scores are on each online course brochure.

The page gives no rule on combining sittings and no Pearson institution code. Charles Sturt's page does not list PTE Core. Pearson's PTE Core FAQ says PTE Core is initially only suitable for work and migration visa routes to Canada and that PTE Academic is the test accepted for university study.

For courses that do not need a higher standard, Charles Sturt also considers previous study in English if you meet its country and qualification conditions. It notes that it may set separate English requirements for student visa processing.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Charles Sturt programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
