Concordia TOEFL minimums by level
From the undergraduate English language proficiency page and the School of Graduate Studies English language proficiency page. Several graduate programmes set higher figures than their faculty.

How Concordia handles TOEFL scores
Concordia accepts the TOEFL iBT and the iBT Special Home Edition, and both pages say MyBest scores are accepted. Use institution code 0956.00 so results reach Concordia directly. Undergraduate results must be less than two years old when you apply.
For comparison, the undergraduate page sets IELTS Academic at 6 with no component under 5.5, and the graduate page asks Arts and Science applicants for 6.5 with 6.5 in each component.

If your TOEFL score is below Concordia's level
Depending on your undergraduate score, Concordia may ask you to sit a placement test after admission, which decides whether you take ESL courses, usually in first year. At graduate level, Gina Cody admits applicants scoring 80 to 84 with ENCS 6721, and 75 to 79 with ENCS 5721 and ENCS 6721; in Arts and Science, Fine Arts and the School of Graduate Studies, some programmes admit 79 to 85 with extra English courses.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Concordia programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
