What PTE score do you need for Deakin College?

Deakin College says evidence of an English test or qualification should be no more than two years old when you start. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, combining sittings or a Pearson institution code.

Deakin College's page does not list PTE Core. Pearson's PTE Core FAQ says PTE Core is initially only suitable for work and migration visa routes to Canada and that PTE Academic is the test accepted for university study.

For comparison, the same table sets IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 for diplomas and the standard Foundation Program, 6.0 with no band below 5.5 for the MQP, and 7.0 (6.5 writing, 7.0 in the others) for the nursing pathway.

The table accepts Deakin University English Language Institute courses instead of a test: EAP 2 for the diplomas and both Foundation Programs and EAP 3 for the MQP. These are not accepted for the nursing pathway.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Deakin College programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
