Test rules and how to send your score
Duquesne says Duolingo and PTE Academic scores are accepted for some, but not all, undergraduate programs, so confirm your program accepts PTE before booking. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson code. For graduate scores it says results current to within one year are considered reliable.
For undergraduates on the same page, IELTS 6.0 and TOEFL 70 lead to full-time study, so PTE 48 is the PTE line for the same outcome.

If you fall short
Undergraduates without approved scores are tested on campus with Accuplacer and a writing sample, then placed into full-time study, part-time study with English support, or one or more semesters of ESL through the Gateway program. ESL courses cost extra on top of tuition.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Duquesne programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
