What PTE score do you need for ESMT Berlin?

The MBA page lists the requirement simply as "PTE - 64 minimum". It does not say whether PTE Academic Online or PTE Core is accepted, how old a score may be, or how to send a PTE result. The only institution code it gives is for TOEFL (8707), so do not use that for PTE; ask the admissions team how they want your Pearson score.

On the same page, IELTS is 7 and TOEFL is 5.0 with 5.0 in Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing on the 2026 scale. The TOEFL route has a section floor; the PTE route as written does not.

You do not need a test if English is your native language or you earned a university degree taught exclusively in English. If you have worked for 12 months or more in an English-speaking country or in an organisation whose working language was English, the page says the test may be waived. ESMT also expects strong English to show in the admission interview. No pre-sessional or conditional route with a PTE entry point is described.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ESMT programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
