What IELTS score do you need for Harper Adams University?

Harper Adams accepts Indian Standard XII English at 70% from CBSE or CISCE and 75% from other recognised state boards for undergraduate entry, and at 75% (CBSE or CISCE) or 80% (other state boards) for postgraduate entry. State boards from Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are excluded, so applicants there need CBSE, CISCE or a test.

West African Senior Schools Certificate English at C6 or above is accepted from WAEC only, in digital format where available. Kenya KCSE at B and South Africa's NSC English Home Language at grade 5 also count.

Tests marked as time-limited must be taken within two years of your start. If yours is older, Harper Adams asks for extra evidence from the last two years, such as an employer or academic reference or a medium of instruction letter. Visa applicants' English is also checked in a face-to-face interview during the application.

The university's English Language Policy says it reserves the right to make its own assessment of an applicant's English.

For a Student visa, UK Visas and Immigration asks for English at CEFR B2 for degree-level study and B1 below degree level, per gov.uk. At degree level, gov.uk adds, your university can assess your English itself and may ask you to take a different test.
