PTE rules at Harper Adams
Only PTE Academic counts: the page says General PTE is not accepted and PTE Academic Online is not accepted. PTE is one of the tests that must have been taken within the two years before the start of study; an older test means you will be asked for additional supporting evidence. Visa applicants must show CEFR B2.
Against IELTS, undergraduate entry is 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any component and postgraduate entry 6.5 with no less than 5.5.

If your PTE score falls short
Harper Adams offers degrees with a foundation year; the requirements page gives no separate PTE entry score for them.
For the Student visa itself, gov.uk asks for English equivalent to CEFR B2 at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself. Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Harper Adams programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
