Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Bali?

Pearson's test centre finder listed no PTE centre on Bali on 30 October 2026. The nearest is KELT in Surabaya, a short flight away; the others are in Jakarta, Tangerang and Pontianak.

Read on 29 and 30 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's Bali test-date page and Pearson's price finder with Indonesia selected. IELTS costs the same at both providers. In Bali, IDP also offers IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills; the British Council's IELTS for UKVI in Indonesia is only in Jakarta.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Indonesia and PTE fee in Indonesia guides.

IDP also tests in Lombok. For PTE, Surabaya is the nearest city with a Pearson centre; see our Surabaya guide and the Indonesia test centre list.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Bali and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Bali or the nearest city with a centre, and pick a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and Indonesia is not on its list of country exceptions, so bring your passport. Anyone testing outside their country of citizenship must show a passport in any case. A KTP will not do for PTE.

Results: IDP's session listings say 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
