IELTS test centres in Jakarta
In the British Council's booking system the British Council Indonesia Foundation had IELTS on computer on 77 days to 31 December 2026. Four partner venues had dates too: London School of Accountancy and Finance (33 days), London English School (32), Lembaga Bahasa LIA Cibubur (21) and Lembaga Bahasa Internasional Universitas Indonesia, Salemba (10). IELTS for UKVI ran at British Council Jakarta on 10 days, from 22 October. The British Council stopped paper tests on 21 June 2026. The day counts are for IELTS Academic on computer.
IDP's finder lists venues across West, Central, South and North Jakarta, but its city pages showed sessions for 11 October to 31 December 2026 at only two: IALF Jakarta – Sudirman Park on 45 days (Central Jakarta) and IALF – SUN Education Group Meruya on 3 (West Jakarta). Its South and North Jakarta pages showed none, and no IDP session in Jakarta was IELTS for UKVI.

PTE test centres in Jakarta
Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Jakarta on 10 October 2026, Multimatics, and one nearby in Tangerang (Gading Serpong), IALF. Both are partner venues. They are two of only four PTE centres in Indonesia; the others are in Surabaya and Pontianak.
Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

IELTS and PTE fees in Jakarta
Read on 10 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's session listings for Jakarta, both providers' Indonesia fee pages and Pearson's price finder with Indonesia selected. IELTS costs the same at both providers. Pearson prices PTE in US dollars, and unusually PTE Academic UKVI is cheaper than PTE Academic in Indonesia. IELTS Online (at home) is not available in Indonesia.

How to book, what ID to bring, and when results arrive
IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Jakarta and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. The British Council Foundation registers you with a KTP or passport, takes payment online only (cards, QRIS, e-wallets or virtual account) and gives you one hour to pay after choosing a date; under-18s need a parent consent form.
PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Jakarta, a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport. Indonesia is not on its list of countries where another ID is accepted, so a KTP will not do for PTE.
Results: the British Council's booking system says 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
