Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Busan?

Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Busan on 30 October 2026: LEXIS EXAM CENTRE - Busan, a partner venue. Korea's other PTE centres are in Seoul and Daegu.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose the test first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

In Busan both providers charge KRW 347,000; the British Council's cheaper KRW 327,000 price applies only at its Seoul venues. The British Council's IELTS for UKVI in Korea is only in Seoul.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Busan and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Busan or the nearest city with a centre, and pick a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and South Korea is not on its list of country exceptions, so bring your passport. Anyone testing outside their country of citizenship must show a passport in any case.

Results: IDP's session listings say 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
