How much is the PTE exam fee in South Korea?

Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and more than 7 days 50%, and at 7 days or fewer nothing.

If illness or a family emergency stops you attending, Pearson may let you reschedule free at its discretion; submit the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment. See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.

Pearson's fees page names official voucher resellers only for Nigeria and China (Pearson), not South Korea. A cheap "voucher" from an agent or a social media page is not something Pearson lists, so book direct in myPTE unless the seller can show the voucher came from Pearson.

PTE Academic costs KRW 306,000 against KRW 347,000 for IELTS, but choose by what your university or visa accepts. Use the PTE to IELTS converter to translate a band requirement, then take a free PTE mock test.
