IELTS test centres in Seoul
In the British Council's booking system Seoul had IELTS Academic on computer on 52 days between 30 October to 31 December 2026, at five venues: Cityhall - British Council IOC Centre, Gangnam - Daekyo Wujulearn Language Space, Gangnam - Digital Assessment Hub, Gasan - Team Sky Education and Boramae - Daekyo Tower. The British Council's IELTS for UKVI in Korea is at its City Hall centre only.
IDP's Seoul page on ieltskorea.org showed 1,746 upcoming sessions at IDP rooms in Gangbook, Gangnam and two Lexis centres, for IELTS Academic, General Training and IELTS for UKVI, some with Writing on paper.

PTE test centres in Seoul
Pearson's test centre finder listed two PTE centres in Seoul on 30 October 2026: Pearson Professional Centers-Seoul, run by Pearson, and Herald Test Center Apgujeong, a partner venue.
Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose the test first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

IELTS and PTE fees in Seoul
Read on 29 and 30 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's Seoul test-date page and Pearson's price finder with South Korea selected. Unusually, the providers charge different prices in Seoul: the British Council's Seoul sessions were KRW 20,000 cheaper than IDP's. PTE is cheaper than either.

How to book, what ID to bring, and when results arrive
IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Seoul and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.
PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Seoul or the nearest city with a centre, and pick a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and South Korea is not on its list of country exceptions, so bring your passport. Anyone testing outside their country of citizenship must show a passport in any case.
Results: IDP's session listings say 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
