Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Da Nang?

Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Da Nang on 30 October 2026: Duy Tan University, a partner venue. It is the only PTE centre in central Vietnam; the others are in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose the test first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

Read on 29 and 30 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's Da Nang test-date page and Pearson's price finder with Vietnam selected. IELTS costs the same at both providers. Pearson's Vietnam price list has no PTE Core, so PTE Core is not available in Vietnam.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Vietnam and PTE fee in Vietnam guides.

IDP and the British Council also test in Hue, and IDP in Quang Ngai. For more dates see our Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City guides, and the Vietnam test centre list for every city.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Da Nang and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Da Nang or the nearest city with a centre, and pick a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and Vietnam is not on its list of country exceptions, so bring your passport. Anyone testing outside their country of citizenship must show a passport in any case.

Results: IDP's session listings say 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
