Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Yogyakarta?

Pearson's test centre finder listed no PTE centre in Yogyakarta or anywhere in Central Java on 30 October 2026. The nearest is KELT in Surabaya; the others are in Jakarta, Tangerang and Pontianak.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Yogyakarta and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same identity document you entered when you booked.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Yogyakarta or the nearest city with a centre, and pick a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and Indonesia is not on its list of country exceptions, so bring your passport. Anyone testing outside their country of citizenship must show a passport in any case. A KTP will not do for PTE.

Results: IDP's session listings say 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
