IELTS fees in Cyprus by provider
The British Council printed these fees on its Cyprus booking page, and its booking system charged EUR 251 at every Cypriot venue. IDP's partner IELTS Cyprus showed EUR 251 and EUR 273 on its Nicosia sessions.

North Cyprus: the same fee in euros
Both providers list venues in the north under Cyprus and charge the same EUR 251. The British Council tests at TED College in north Nicosia, Eastern Mediterranean Doga College in Famagusta and Final International University in Kyrenia, and ielts.org also lists IELTS for UKVI (EUR 273) and Life Skills (EUR 206) at TED College. IDP runs sessions at Ataner English Academy in north Nicosia. Fees are in euros, not Turkish lira.

How to pay: online, bank deposit or bank transfer
The British Council in Cyprus takes payment in its online registration system, by bank deposit or by bank transfer; for a deposit or transfer you must email the receipt with your documents, and bank charges are on top of the fee (book a test). IDP asks for a passport scan and a credit card (IDP Cyprus).
Cancellation, transfer and refund rules
The British Council's Cyprus policy refunds an online booking in full within 14 days of the payment confirmation; after that, 75% if you cancel 15 or more days before the test and nothing within 14 days. IDP's Cyprus rules match, with free transfers 15 or more days ahead and up to 25% within 5 to 14 days. UKVI tests follow the UKVI policy.
