IELTS fees in Israel by centre
The British Council's booking system charged these fees on 14 October 2026, matching the ielts.org pages for IHTA Tel Aviv, IHTA Ramat Gan and Yeda Plus Haifa. Both centres are British Council partners (British Council Israel).

Haifa is ILS 160 cheaper, and its own page is out of date
The same test costs ILS 160 less in Haifa. Yeda Plus's own IELTS page still quoted 1,475 shekels on 14 October 2026, but the booking system charged ILS 1,600 for every Haifa session that day; trust the price on the booking screen. Yeda Plus says payment details arrive in your confirmation letter and payment is confirmed within 48 hours.
The British Council's Israel page lists acceptable proof of residence for booking in Israel: temporary residence (A5), permanent residence or a caregiver work visa (British Council Israel). IELTS on computer includes One Skill Retake (One Skill Retake).

Cancellation and refund rules
Yeda Plus's page says that if you postpone or cancel more than two weeks before the test you get a refund minus an ILS 335 administration charge; within two weeks you pay the full fee unless you send a medical certificate within five days of the test, when the same ILS 335 applies (Yeda Plus). The British Council's general rules allow one transfer at least 14 days ahead, and UKVI tests follow the UKVI policy.
