How much is the PTE exam fee in Israel in 2026?

Pearson asks for full payment in the currency shown, so the shekel amount depends on your card's rate on the day you pay. IELTS is priced in shekels: ILS 1,760 in the Tel Aviv area, ILS 1,600 in Haifa, ILS 1,840 for IELTS for UKVI and ILS 990 for Life Skills (IELTS fee in Israel).

Compare the two on the day you book; Life Skills is usually the cheaper UK family-route test. PTE is only in Tel Aviv-Jaffa (PTE test centres in Israel).

Pearson applies the same rules in Israel as everywhere else (cancellation and rescheduling policy and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain. Inside 14 days you must cancel and book again: between 14 and 7 full days you get 50% back, and with 7 days or fewer nothing.

For illness or a family emergency, Pearson may allow a free reschedule if you send the emergency request with evidence no later than 72 hours after your appointment; acceptance is at its discretion.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson takes credit and debit cards plus Google Pay and Apple Pay, does not accept PayPal, and needs full payment in the currency shown (payment policy). You can sit PTE up to 12 times in any 12 months (retake policy).

Pearson says a genuine reseller never promises a score and that it cannot recover money paid to third parties outside official channels (booking safely). Book on pearsonpte.com with your own email address and card. Try a free PTE mock test first.
