How much is the IELTS exam fee in Mozambique?

The British Council's booking page asks for a passport or national identity card (bilhete de identidade), uploaded when you book; under-18s need written consent from a parent or guardian. You pay by bank deposit or transfer to its Standard Bank account, quoting the 15-digit reference starting with MZ that the online form gives you.

Payment must arrive within five days of registering, and the proof of payment and a copy of your ID must reach the British Council within five working days or the booking is cancelled. A bank deposit made on the fourth or fifth day may not secure your preferred date, so pay early. Your Speaking test can fall on the same day or within seven days either side.

The British Council did not publish a separate Mozambique cancellation page that we could read. Its standard IELTS policy, published on its Senegal and Sierra Leone sites, gives 75% back if you cancel 15 or more days before the test and nothing within 14 days; confirm with the centre before you pay. Illness, bereavement and other exceptional circumstances can be raised with the test centre before the test or up to two calendar days after it, never once results are out. The centre replies within seven working days, and refunds can take 4 to 6 weeks.
