Precio del IELTS en España: fees by provider
The British Council printed these fees on its Spanish booking page, and its booking system charged EUR 284 in Barcelona. IDP's EUR 284 was on every session in its Spanish date finder.

What the fee covers
A British Council booking includes preparation material and free practice tests (book a test). Both providers offer One Skill Retake after a computer test (One Skill Retake). IELTS Online is for IELTS Academic only; the British Council says immigration authorities do not accept it (IELTS Online vs computer vs paper).

How to book and pay
The British Council takes payment by bank card in its online booking system, and you must show the same ID document on test day that you registered with, or you lose the test and the refund (book a test). IDP asks you to upload a passport scan and finish payment by credit card (IDP Spain).
Cancellation, transfer and refund rules
The British Council's Spanish policy says consumers who book online can withdraw within 14 calendar days of the payment confirmation, before the test date, for a full refund. Otherwise, cancelling 15 or more days before the test returns 75% and within 14 days nothing. IDP's Spanish rules match: free transfer 15 or more days ahead, up to 25% within 5 to 14 days. UKVI tests follow the UKVI policy.
