How much is the PTE exam fee in Spain in 2026?

IELTS costs EUR 284, IELTS for UKVI EUR 306 and Life Skills EUR 214 (IELTS fee in Spain). PTE Academic saves EUR 24 and PTE Academic UKVI EUR 46; IELTS Life Skills is EUR 6 cheaper than PTE Home.

IELTS runs in many more Spanish cities, including Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and the Canary Islands, while PTE is in Madrid and Barcelona (PTE test centres in Spain).

Pearson applies the same rules in Spain as everywhere else (cancellation and rescheduling policy and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain. Inside 14 days you must cancel and book again: between 14 and 7 full days you get 50% back, and with 7 days or fewer nothing.

For illness or a family emergency, Pearson may allow a free reschedule if you send the emergency request with evidence no later than 72 hours after your appointment; acceptance is at its discretion.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson takes credit and debit cards plus Google Pay and Apple Pay, does not accept PayPal, and needs full payment in the currency shown (payment policy). You can sit PTE up to 12 times in any 12 months (retake policy).

Pearson says a genuine reseller never promises a score and that it cannot recover money paid to third parties outside official channels (booking safely). Book on pearsonpte.com with your own email address and card. Check that your programme accepts PTE, for example IE University, and try a free PTE mock test.
