Cancellation and refunds
The British Council did not publish a separate Yemen cancellation page that we could read. Its standard IELTS policy, published on its Senegal and Sierra Leone sites, gives 75% back if you cancel 15 or more days before the test and nothing within 14 days; confirm with the centre before you pay. Illness, bereavement and other exceptional circumstances can be raised with the test centre before the test or up to two calendar days after it, never once results are out. The centre replies within seven working days, and refunds can take 4 to 6 weeks.
