What IELTS score do engineers need for Engineers Australia?

Older tests are judged on the earlier table: IELTS 6 in each band, PTE Academic 50 in each skill, Cambridge 169 in each, and TOEFL iBT 12 listening, 13 reading, 21 writing and 18 speaking. Any test still has to fall within the three-year window.

Your test must be taken within three years before lodging and must still be verifiable with the provider during the assessment; otherwise you will be asked to take a new test. Only scores from a secure test centre are accepted. IELTS results with One Skill Retake are accepted, as is the Michigan test's Single Section Retake.

Engineers Australia may accept multiple test results on a case-by-case basis, provided all are valid and verifiable and are the same type of test.

You usually do not need a test if you graduated from an Australian institution after two academic years (at least 92 weeks) at a CRICOS-registered institution at AQF level 6 or above, or if you are a citizen holding a valid passport of the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Ireland.
