Jagiellonian PTE minimum
From the knowledge of language page, which lists documents Jagiellonian recognises as proof of English at a minimum B2 level, under the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Test rules and the IELTS comparison
The list names "Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) – at least 59 points". Separately it accepts the Pearson English International Certificate, formerly PTE General, at Level 3 or higher; that is a different test. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, validity or a Pearson code.
On the same list IELTS is at least 5.5, TOEFL iBT at least 72 and Cambridge B2 First or higher, so PTE 59 sits at the same B2 floor.
The medicine and dentistry pages read for this guide do not list PTE Academic, so check with the Medical College before relying on PTE for those programmes.

If you fall short
The list also accepts a certificate of completing a preparatory course for study, among many other B2 documents. Whatever you submit, the page says the certificate does not exempt you from the admission interview.
