What PTE score do you need for James Madison University?

JMU asks applicants to specify its CEEB code (005392) on the testing form and says test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to JMU; student copies are not accepted. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a validity period.

On the same page IELTS needs 6.5 overall, with three sub-scores at 6.5 or above and one at 6.0 or above, so PTE 58 with every sub-score above 56 sits alongside that IELTS level.

The undergraduate page lists other ways to show English, such as an SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 500, a Cambridge C1 Advanced score of 176 or a GCSE or O level in English language. It does not describe a conditional admission or pathway route for applicants below the PTE minimum.
